You Can Make a Difference at Giant Steps The American Institute for Neuro-Integrative Development (AIND) and Giant Steps has been serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related disorders of development since 1993. Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder affecting communication, sensory processing, and social behavior. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 1 in 88 children has an  Autism Spectrum Disorder. Some of the children diagnosed with autism today will achieve independence as adults and lead productive lives, but many will not. As science works to better understand cause and advance treatment, Giant Steps is working  to support children and adults with  programs that are current with best practices. We are a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization under IRS regulations and all contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the applicable laws.
